Крупные и малые предприятия Великобритании не готовы к Brexit

Почти две трети предприятий еще не сделали никакой оценки риска безрезультатности относительно итогов переговоров по делу Brexit. По истечении шести месяцев, пока Великобритания не покинет ЕС, BCC заявила, что многие малые и средние предприятия (МСП) «либо ждут прояснения ситуации, прежде чем начать действовать, либо устали от Brexit, намеренно отказываясь выполнять свои обязательства».

Адам Маршалл, генеральный директор BCC, сказал: «Слишком много предприятий по всей Великобритании до сих пор не готовы к Brexit. Многие более мелкие фирмы не имеют возможности подготовиться к возможному развитию сценария».

Опрос BCC показал, что четверть компаний, которые импортируют или экспортируют, сократят инвестиции, если сделки не будет. В выводах, которые встревожили BCC, 18% респондентов заявили, что сократят набор, а пятая часть сообщила, что они переместят часть или весь свой бизнес в ЕС, чтобы они все еще могли заниматься экспортом. В опросе приняли участие 2500 фирм в Великобритании с 1 августа по 21 августа.

Эдвард Уинтертон, исполнительный директор Bibby Financial Services Великобритании, который провел опрос для BCC, сказал: «Последствия результата сделок могут быть катастрофическими для 5,7 млн. МСП в Великобритании, особенно для тех, кто покупает и продает товары в пределах ЕС».
